Clarkston Golf & Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Clarkston, Washington.
The Clarkston Golf & Country Club was established as a private club in 1937. The course has been through many changes through the years, but has been at the present site and in the current configuration since 1974 when Keith Hellstrom redesigned the course.
The course plays longer than the listed yardage (5,400-6,700 yards), presents classic tree-lined fairways, 4 ponds that come into play on 8 holes and numerous bunkers that guard the small greens.
This easy-to-walk championship course is located in Clarkston, Washington, adjacent to the Snake River and is near Lewiston, Idaho. They are able to offer year-round golf because of Clarkston's low elevation, 738 feet.
The tree-lined fairways are narrow and require shot accuracy off the tees. Water hazards (four ponds) come into play on at least seven holes. The signature hole is #10 (also the #1 handicap hole), a 435-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a narrow fairway protected by out-of-bounds on the left and trees on the right. Each day, (depending on the weather conditions) this hole offers a picturesque view of the sunset. The greens are difficult to read because of their numerous subtle breaks.
The club's other amenities include a fine-dining restaurant and lounge, outdoor swimming pool and clay tennis court. They welcome guests of members and members of other private clubs.
For those under 35 years old, membership rates start at only $50 per month with no initiation fee! For those over 35 initiation fees are $200 and monthly fees are resonable, but higher than the under 35 year old rate.

Unbelievably low annual certificate member cost, for the quality of course. Plays a bit long, some holes are a challenge and some seem like their not.
